With a career spanning 30 years and a long-standing celebrity clientele under her belt, Kate Best is a true veteran in the world of make-up.
Hailing originally from Great Britain, she kicked off as a Vivian Westwood model and fine artist, before moving to New York to work with Kevyn Aucoin where she broke into theatre and fashion.
She has designed make-up for looks more than 20 hit broadway shows including Kiss of the Spider Woman and Into the Woods; and worked closely with greats including David Hockney and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Most notably, Kate - who was nominated for an EMMY Award for her work on Don Quixote - has been a requested client and friend to actress Vanessa Williams for 23 years.
This has taken her to the sets of smash-hit shows including Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty, and films including Shaft and Dance with Me.
Sought-after for her immaculate attention to detail and technical artistry, Kate has taught master classes for MAC and Make Up For Ever, and developed seminars which remain in place today.
